Warning, this may be shocking to animal lovers...

So, Hannah is still learning how to clean, and as you can see everything goes...even bears in the oven. Not sure why she thought he fit in there, but there he is. She is just too funny! LOL

Lakers and Flavio

Flavio and I went to the Lakers vs. Jazz on Thursday...it was a lot of fun and very exciting!
I could not believe how packed the center was...it was soooooo loud, I thought I was going to go deaf right then and there...
So, this is Flavio's favorite basketball player (Kobe Bryant)...I have to admit he is good...but I have never been a fan.
There was a lot of great plays...mostly by the Jazz. Everyone was up and down cheering and booing...while Flavio would get up all by himself when the Lakers did something great...it was funny.
This was a funny sign (that sould have won the sign contest) they were right behind us.

And in the end, the Jazz won. They deserved it. They played really well, and Kobe didn't. I have to admit, I have never been a Jazz fan...I really am a Spurs fan. But, I think I was secretly routing for the Jazz...and just cheering with my husband for support. :)

But we had a blast and I love going out with my cute husband! He really is a gem!

I turned the corner...

So we are attempting to get Hannah to keep her room clean, as that is where all of her toys are currently. Well, as I am sure a lot of you may understand, this has not been an easy task. She usually ends up playing with all her toys in the process and forgets what she should be doing. Well, tonight, she came to me and yelled, "Mama, I did it, I did it!" So I went in her room and sure enough the floor was clean! I was so proud, then I turned the corner and saw her closet...oh, our funny, funny Hannah. We just had to laugh and share with everyone.

Princesses, Snow and Easter

Hannah is potty trained. I may just be a wuss, but I found potty training somewhat difficult. But, just like everyone said, one day she just decided and we haven't looked back since. So, Hooray for Hannah! Anyway, in the process of trying to get her potty trained I promised her many things, princess clothes, a princess blanket, a princess party and to be able to to go school this next year. Well, I had to make good with all my promises...I hope all of my kids don't expect this much...but they might be mad later if I don't do this for every one of them. I guess we will just make potty training a huge celebration at our house. :)

I still can't believe it snowed so late in the year! This weather has really thrown me for a loop.

So it has been a great few weeks, minus the crazy weather and a migraine. We went to St. George to celebrate Easter with my mom and dad. We had a great time. The weather wasn't the greatest, but the sun came out for Easter morning, as it should. I love celebrating my Savior and the wonderful gift of the Resurrection.

Moving

So, I am sure those of you who have seen the sign, were thinking, "what in the world?" Yes, we are looking to move. This has been a very difficult decision for us to make as we love all of our friends out here in Eagle Mountain. But, we have felt for awhile that this is something that we need to do. We hope that everyone understands and that no one will feel offended in any way. Life is just taking us in another direction right now. We may still be here for a few more months, as we all know the market is really hard for sellers, so we hope to just keep going as if nothing has changed...until it really does. We love you all and are so grateful for your friendship.

Love,
The Martins

Hannah says the darnedest things

So I have to mention some of the cute things Hannah has been saying these past few weeks. She is talking so well now and it is so fun to have real converstations with her. She is no potty training, and doing better every day. But she is possitive one in all of this, if she has an accident, she will come to me and say, "It's okay Mama, I try again tomorrow." Which seems to help with my frustration :) She also loves to pray (most of the time) and is very cute when she does, for example this morning she told Heavenly Father that she really likes pretzels and hopes that Mama will let her have some for a snack today. And her way of thanking Heavenly Father is telling Him that she likes something, so today she said she likes the Sniders and the Poulsens, me and Flavio, Lia, pretzles, grandparents, pretzles, her cereal and my parent's dog, Ali. She also, took Lia in her arms the other day and looked her in the face and said, "Lia you are my best friend." Those are the moments worth living for! I love that girl!

Ode to sleep

I wish I could be asleep. But I am awake and it is 2:10 am. Oh, how I wish I could be sleeping.
