Pumpkin carving....

So we carved our pumpkins last night...Hannah wanted a heart, Flavio did the batman logo, and I tried carving a witch. We had fun doing them, although Hannah just wanted to eat the pumpkin's insides the whole time, they turned out great....I just wish I would have been as smart as the Sniders and took pictures while we were carving....maybe next year.

Halloween for a two year old...

I love this picture...she really caught the idea...

So, how many things do you think a two year could do for Halloween? Well, this year this two year old has done, seen and tasted what the funness (new word) of Halloween has to offer and then some. Granted, I am sure most of your kids have done the same stuff, but wow, she really loves this holiday and I don't blame her. We are not done yet, tomorrow we are off to Thanksgiving Point for the fun there. We want to thank everyone who has made this a fun Halloween for our precious little Hannah...we love that little Japanese girl. Happy Halloween everyone!

6th picture of 6th folder?

Here it is...Hannah in her Hawaiian attire for the fun, fun Hawaiian themed ward party we had a few months ago...I knew Hannah would be the picture I would find, it was just a matter of which picture...she practically is the only one pictured in our little family...I also tag everyone.

Our little Japanese Girl

So this kimono was made by one of my mission companion's mothers while I was over in Japan and I wanted Hannah to wear it for Halloween...I am sure you can see why...so cute. Happy Halloween everybody...oh and don't forget to check out the picture of Hannah with her Aunt and Uncle...just keep scrolling down.

An ode to hockey

So Flavio and I went to the Grizzlies opening night game last night...we had so much fun. Who knew that hockey was so entertaining and at times laughable. It was a really fast paced game and luckily I was able to get second row seats...so we felt like we were right in the action. Really, hockey is a bunch of boys who have a need to let off some steam, there was pushing and triping, and slaming each other into the wall, there was even the occation throw off your helmet and punch each other out fights...they let them do this! It was insane. But I have to admit, we had a really great time and the Grizzlies won. If you like action sports, I recommend going to a hockey game...the seats are not too expensive and they really put on a great show!

Hannah in the middle

So Flavio and I went out last night for his birthday, which was last week. And we had Flavio's sister and her husband come and stay with Hannah. All I can say is, that is one of the cutest pictures I have ever seen. Thank you Luis and Natalia...we love you!

Laurie Ercanbrack

Can I just take a few minutes and embarrass Laurie...she is the sweetest girl! She is so willing to offer any help when she herself is completely busy with her beautiful boys...she is always helping me with my photography business...I have even done a few of her friend's pictures because they recommend me (now I am not saying you need to go do that) I just wanted to thank her. and I wanted you all to know that she is a great hair dresser, I am not sure how busy she wants to be...but she is great, affordable and so fun to talk to. She did my hair for our pictures and I love it. So here is yet another picture of me...with Laurie's hair dye in my hair and the layers she cut. Love ya Laurie!

Halloween in Provo

We went out with some good friends to get into the Halloween spirit...we went on a little Halloween cruise they have in Provo. It was fun, and although we thought here could have been a little more for your money, Hannah said on our way home, "Thank you for the fun boat ride mom and dad." She really had a good time. That made it all worth it. Then we went and got ice cream...oh, I mean frozen yogurt.

More family pics

Well, I guess since I am the photographer I am lucky because I can take as many pictures as I want and go where ever I want to do pictures...we had our friend Stacey come up with us to Hobble Creek Canyon, just to see what we could find and we found some beautiful colors. She pushed the button for our family pics and then I followed Hannah around a little (okay, a lot) and we got a few cute pictures of her as well. It has always been a dream of mine to get Fall family photos! I love them! Let me know if you want to try this spot...the colors will go fast.

True Love

I wanted to talk about two of the most important people in my life...Flavio and Hannah. I feel like we have spent so much time, effort, emotion and money working on having the next child that I forget to take a step back and really be grateful for what I have. We sent this picture to Flavio, just as a little love note. But I am not sure if I do that enough. I want everyone to know that I have a wonderful caring husband, who really wants me and Hannah to be happy. He is truly the love of my life. And as for Hannah, well I never knew I could love someone so quickly and so deeply. She has blessed us more than I could have ever imagined. I hope that all of us at some point step back, even when life seems crazy and hard, and look at the blessings we do have. I love my little family and if this is all God wants for us to have, I will be completely happy with it. He knows what is best for us and I know He will do all He can to make us happy. I love the Gospel.

Thank you for all of your love and friendship!

Dance, dance mania!

So, we got Hannah into dance lessons. It is a local place in the Ranches. She had a lot of fun. They played lots of games and pretended to be different animals. Really, it just gives us something to do to break up the day. She had a lot of fun and it will be a good way to stay active in the winter.... She is just growing up too fast!

Hannah's new room part 2

Her quote says: "A little girl is Heaven's most precious flower."
Hannah loves to read, so I made her a little reading corner...she loves to read there.

I had bright pink curtains before, but I like this better...the pink was just too much.

So here is the "ALMOST' finished product...I still have to put up chair rail and get a picture printed up for her room. Hannah loves all the colors and she loves her new bed. It is so hard to say goodbye to her "baby" stage, but we are having so much fun with her right now. She is learning so much and it is so fun to be able to have conversations with her. I want to thank Amy and Jason Crowther, their vinyl prints add so much to her room! They have the coolest business! I can't wait to order my canvas print from them to finish off her room...now I just need a picture that I LOVE to print out. Anyway, I love her new room and I can't wait for us to have another baby so I can do it again!

Adoption

I realize that we talk about this a lot, but we have registered with another company that does nation wide profiling. It is a wonderful company that has a lot of success for many families. We are excited to be apart of it. Here is the direct link to our profile, please pass it on.

Ants in my carpet?!

Okay, I realize that this is going to freak many of you out. And yes, it is really weird of me to post, however I was just amazed by this little ant who carried this massive piece of Hannah's Gold Fish across our carpet on Sunday. Now, don't get me wrong, I am not pro-ant or pro-bug, I have killed my fair share, and maybe it was because of Conference and the knowing that this little guy was one of God's creatures too, I just had to take a picture of him hauling this snack across my carpet. I thought, how amazing are these little creatures...he was so determined and worked so hard just for a basic necessity. Anyway, I hope I don't lose too many friends with this, as I know it is a little crazy...but I thought he was amazing, even though I ended up getting too close to him and he dropped the fishy anyway. :/

Hannah's new room

So we are redoing Hannah's room and I ordered this shelf from a company here in Eagle Mountain called, Poppy Ginger. The link is on my blog. Anyway, they are very affordable and do custom jobs. And look how cute her window is now! I can't wait to get her room all done so I can blog it. Hannah just loves the room and so do I.
