A story to remember

"Because Jesus Christ suffered greatly, He understands our suffering. He understands our grief. . . . Sometimes the very moments that seem to overcome us with suffering are those that will ultimately suffer us to overcome."

Valentines, St. Patrick's Day and a Basement

I know I am a little behind on this blog...right now I am working on 4 separate blogs and sometimes one or two gets a little neglected :( Anyway...we have a had a good couple of months with getting ready for our new baby girl. We have been working hard on getting our basement done. This was a lot of work...but it is DONE! Yay!

For Valentine's Day, Flavio took me to Thanksgiving Point for a really nice dinner and then we went to a movie...I love the dinner and movie date :) Before we left, he had left me a rose and my favorite chocolates with a beautiful card. Very sweet :)

In the next pictures, Hannah and Lia are getting their "green" lunch for St. Patrick's Day. Hannah and Lia both love salmon...so I dyed it green (gross, I know) and then they ate it with celery (which they both like as well) and a pickle :) I did add some grapes after, but they were purple so I didn't put them in the picture ;)

Here are some pics:

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Here is our basement:
This is my photography studio! So excited for this one!

This is our new guest room...
The bathroom!

We put a little playroom under the stairs for the kids...I wish I would have had one of these.

This will be our TV room...now we just need to save more money to fill it ;)

Last but not least, Flavio's "Braves Themed Man Cave" I am sure he will really need this in a few years with 3 daughters and a wife ;)
Next, for our next adventure...a new baby girl.

Hopefully that will be my next post...pictures from the hospital!

Hannah Banana

So I was told by my four year old that I couldn't wear what I was wearing to drop her off at school.

Hannah: "Mom, are you wearing that?"
Me: "What?"
Hannah: "You can't wear that to take me to school."
Me: "Why not?"
Hannah: "Those are inside clothes, you will look funny."
Me: "I don't get out of the car though, no one will see me."
Hannah: "Mom, please change your clothes to outside clothes."
Me: "Okay."

I had no idea the embarrassment factor was already coming. I am in big trouble. And to my defense, what I was wearing wasn't all that bad...sweat pants and a sweat shirt. I am pregnant and getting to the point of comfort over fashion. But, I guess my 4 year old has other ideas.

On Valentine's Day...My car gets tagged.

Who would do such a thing? Tagging my car on Valentine's Day?

No one else other than my sweet baby Niki! Thank you!!!

Super sweet and totally unexpected. Plus, she does all of this while I am at work, and she has 2 kiddos with her and is 8 months pregnant. Simply amazing.

Thank you for seven wonderful years. We've laughed, cried, been together through good times and bad. Here's to many many more years together. I love you.

Fun in the sun...

We were able to got to St. George last weekend, and although it wasn't as warm as it normally should have been...it was a huge improvement from our freazing weather here in the North. We had a lot of fun with my mom and dad. The girls always love to see them and Flavio and I were able to sneak in a date :)

Here are some pictures of us hiking. I hadn't done anything like this for awhile, but I made it all 2 miles :) It felt good to get out into nature. I sure do miss the warm sun!

I am really ready for Spring!
