Miss Hannah

Yesterday marked 5 years in my Hannah's life. I can't believe how fast that went! Hannah was our first In-Vitro miracle. I honestly can say that I longed for her. We had to go through two heartbreaking negative results before we found out we were pregnant with Hannah. I was very wary when we went through our third trial. I feel like I just went through the motions. I wasn't expecting anything different from the first two times. When it came time for us to find out whether this one worked or not, I was preparing myself the whole morning for another disappointment. I know this seems like a major lack in faith, but I couldn't set my self up once again for the type of loss I felt with the other two. So when they called and it was our doctor, rather than our nurse, I knew something was different. He didn't waste any time. All he said was, "It worked. You are pregnant!". I started to cry right away. I was by myself. Flavio was at work. I was overwhelmed. I called Flavio, but no answer. I tried again and again. I was consumed by this joy and couldn't share it with anyone! So I called my parents and Flavio parents. They were all, of course, so excited. I then tried Flavio once again, finally he answered and I was able to tell him he was going to be a daddy. He cried too.

Hannah was born 8 days late! Weighing 9 lbs.

We finally had our baby.

We love you Hannah.
You have given us 5 amazing years!
You are kind and sensitive. Your love for your sisters is amazing. I know you are a special daughter of our Father in Heaven. He loves you. I can feel it.

Happy Birthday sweet girl!

We love you!

Yes, that says 9 pounds!

A story to remember

"Because Jesus Christ suffered greatly, He understands our suffering. He understands our grief. . . . Sometimes the very moments that seem to overcome us with suffering are those that will ultimately suffer us to overcome."

Valentines, St. Patrick's Day and a Basement

I know I am a little behind on this blog...right now I am working on 4 separate blogs and sometimes one or two gets a little neglected :( Anyway...we have a had a good couple of months with getting ready for our new baby girl. We have been working hard on getting our basement done. This was a lot of work...but it is DONE! Yay!

For Valentine's Day, Flavio took me to Thanksgiving Point for a really nice dinner and then we went to a movie...I love the dinner and movie date :) Before we left, he had left me a rose and my favorite chocolates with a beautiful card. Very sweet :)

In the next pictures, Hannah and Lia are getting their "green" lunch for St. Patrick's Day. Hannah and Lia both love salmon...so I dyed it green (gross, I know) and then they ate it with celery (which they both like as well) and a pickle :) I did add some grapes after, but they were purple so I didn't put them in the picture ;)

Here are some pics:

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Here is our basement:
This is my photography studio! So excited for this one!

This is our new guest room...
The bathroom!

We put a little playroom under the stairs for the kids...I wish I would have had one of these.

This will be our TV room...now we just need to save more money to fill it ;)

Last but not least, Flavio's "Braves Themed Man Cave" I am sure he will really need this in a few years with 3 daughters and a wife ;)
Next, for our next adventure...a new baby girl.

Hopefully that will be my next post...pictures from the hospital!
