Slacking

So, I haven't really kept up with our regular lives on our family blog...so many other things going on I guess.

So far it has been a great Summer.

Flavio and I were able to go to St. Thomas with his work a couple of weeks ago. Thank you to Emily Poulson for watching our girls so we could have our first "real" vacation since before Hannah was born, with just the two of us.

St. Thomas was beautiful and warm and everything you can imagine the Virgin Islands to be.

(More pictures to come soon.)

We are getting our basement finished, although it is on hold while we pay for In-Vitro...but hopefully by the end of the year we will have it totally done and ready to live in :)

Our girls are getting big. Lia can say just about anything, which is nice, as being able to ask someone what they want is much easier than guessing. Hannah is a typical 4 year old. She is learning how to read and can already sound out most simple words. Also, as soon as I get my life together I plan on teaching her piano. She has always loved the piano and she seems to have a natural knack for it.

Flavio is doing great as work. We are very blessed in that department. He works for a great company that treats us really well.

As for me, well I am still plugging along with my photography. It is going a little slower than I would like, but I guess that is how you build a business, one day at a time. However, if any of you are thinking about getting pictures done or if your friends or family are, let me know :)

That is our life right now, along with our In-Vitro of course. We are very blessed and I am truly grateful for my life :)

Love ya!

New blog

So I have decided to do an IVF blog. I feel that it will help all our friends and family know what is going on and I think it will be therapeutic for me :) But most of all I hope it helps those out there who are struggling with infertility and need someone who understands. Please pass my blog on to those who you know may need a friend during their time of need.

Thanks!

Let the journey begin...again

Flavio and I are going to be starting the journey of

In-Vitro...again.

We start the process this Sunday and go through the middle of July.

Wish us luck.

Or better yet pray for us :)

Hannah's life...

First of all, I can't believe my baby is 4! Where does the time go? I was thinking of all the things that have happened in her short 4 years of life for our little family. Happy Birthday Hannah. We love you!

Here is a time line of things that happened during Hannah's life so far:

1. Flavio found a job, he had been working an internship at Novell and we were very poor. He had lost his previous job (due to the people at immigration) two weeks after we had moved into our first home. My mom had been really sick and she continued to be sick throughout most of Hannah's life.
2. When Hannah was 3 months and Flavio had a good job, we decided to move to Eagle Mountain, which was one of the best decisions we have ever made.
3. After graduating from college, Flavio ends up getting the BEST job in the world! Working for DigiCert.
4. We tried to have another baby through In-Vitro, but once again, it didn't work.
5. Flavio becomes a member of the bishopric.
6. After grieving a few more months from the loss of our In-Vitro process, we both feel strongly about adopting...after two failed adoptions and some deep sorrow, 10 months later God sends us Lia :)
7. In that time Flavio was made Bishop of our new ward.
8. Our time at DigiCert proves to be amazing. We are blessed with many great opportunities for Flavio's career to grow.
9. After much prayer we feel we needed to move again, this time to Saratoga Springs.
10. We continue to receive many blessings and we are so grateful to our Father in Heaven for all our experiences we have had with our Hannah, good and bad. She is truly a little miracle and we love both her and Lia with all of our hearts. Thank you to all our friends and family who have been there for us during those hard times and for sharing with us all our joys. We have been given a wonderful life and it wouldn't be the same without you.
