What I do for a living...

For those of you who don't know Jeff Snider (http://www.snider-family.com/) and I work for DigiCert, one of the fastest growing Certificate Authorities. Our company creates SSL Certificates that secure Web sites. In other words, when you enter your password on a Web site or your credit card number when buying something online you get that page with the padlock which shows that the site is secured.

What it really means is that the contents that you entering are encrypted so that other people can't snoop on what you are entering and steal your information. We secure servers, Web sites, and networks from Fortune 500 companies, large nations, State, and local government agencies, major universities, local colleges, school districts, mom-and-pop Web stores online, you name it, we secure it. You may not have heard of our company but we're around.
